This is a thoughtful reminder that it is difficult to lead others to Christ if Christ is not at our center. It is so easy to forget our purpose and to desire to live a life for our own gain. Our purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ and share his love with those around us. We should strive to make every action we take justified from the teaching of Christ. Seek justice and love mercifully in everything that you do. The only reason we are able to live freely is because of Christ's death and resurrection for us. While the world may ridicule Christians, recall that the actions of a fool seem just to them, and the actions of a wise man seem foolish to the fool. Pray for wisdom in everything you do, and pray for the wisdom of the government that represents you, that they may make Christ honoring decisions daily.
